Haack is not Broadway. Also, 23 USA points off of turnovers and turnover on downs gave USA a short field several times. That's how we lost.

In all fairness, even if it would cost us some dough, I kinda hope they get it. They deserve it as much as any 6-6 team in America.

They're a good football team, and they'll be hell to beat in coming years.

The Louisiana-S. Alabama rivalry may find a fire rekindled in an unlikely place - the football field.

Much props to the fans that made the trip. It was tough to watch, and I was warm the whole damn time.

If we can find a fire for the Tulane game, I'll end this season extremely impressed with the character of those young men.

These past 2 weeks sucked. But I won't lose my perspective. We have a bowl championship to win, and a direct recruiting competitor to demolish on the football field. I'm not confident, but I'm hopeful.

Well the better team won tonight. Better prepared, better talent, better coached. they've had a football team for 4-5 years and they're already one of the best teams in the SBC. We backed into a co-champ position and cajuns can't even celebrate with enthusiasm. We have a lot of work to do in recruiting. Coaches better re-evaluate their schemes and players and get this program turned around next year.

This was a terrible loss but "backed in" means someone lost so you could get back in.

I heard it differently, but I'll give Hud the benefit of the doubt. I love Hud, I'm behind him, and he's great for this program.

We're not LSU, and we're not going to turn on our (great) coach for 2 bad games.

But don't expect me to be positive exactly 3 minutes after a loss like that.

At least we know HUD is not going anywhere. Of course, until he wins a conference championship outright.

Think about it.....Cajuns get to 8 wins guaranteeing a bowl bid... just before Monroe game, Karl Benson calls A.D. Scott Farmer.... you got the NO Bowl in the bag, I want you to drop the last two games so that Monroe and South AL are bowl eligible. Making Benson look better as conference commissioner of seven bowl eligible teams at the expense of the Cajuns record
