This defensive philosophy is one of the worst I've seen from Louisiana in a long, long time.

While I agree with you on it being a philosophy, I do have an issue calling it defensive.

Tulane is licking their chops. I know we are capable of better but this has been how are team has played since nmsu. But now we don't have Broadway.

A weak defense and an offense sputtering with a new quarterback is not a good combination. (plus fumbles)

I'm no football coach, but how much worse could we do by jamming their receivers and blitzing at least 5? Could it be worse than this?

It can't be.

For the last five or six games, the opposing quarterbacks have stood at footed and played pitch and catch with their receivers.

The three man front is useless. Eventually the coverage is gonna breakdown.

It's either on HUD or Willis.

To dig a little deeper I'd bet that some of the defensive players aren't buying into this scheme and therefore aren't playing with all they have. JMO

Has nothing do to do with local - he could be from Afghanistan for all I care - he is just a better athlete, and fits our offense better.
