Do you think you have the same exact crowd if you play UALR last night?

I can't speak for LA Tech, but you have been on a streak, and with football ... I can see the fan base jumping on a winner.

However crowds usually tend to get larger after football season, so you can't look at last year as a whole.

What were your attendance figures pre January last year?

I think the key thing from the game was that our guys performed well in a hostile environment. I am not surprised Tech attendance is improving as they won 27 games last year. I am hopeful we get a chance soon to see what our attendance would be like the year after we win that many games. I would not be surprised if we thought 4000 was a poor crowd in such a circumstance. Guy is wrong anyway. Bryant Mbamalu was on the team in Coach Marlin's first year when we had over 7000 for games against WKU and Denver at the end of a long winning streak. Some may say Bryant does not count as he did not play last night. However, Elfrid Payton was a freshman two years ago and he did play last night. We had over 5000 in the season finale that year. Just using a few facts here to clarify the situation.

I think we have the team this year to pull 7-8k to big conference games. That Denver game that went into OT a few years ago was intense! The crowd was AWESOME. I think we will see that this again!

This is the best start by a Cajun team since the 1993-1994 team that started 10 and 2.
