Louisiana will go into its football regular-season finale with a new quarterback, a new kicker, and a new level of energy and emotion — at least Ragin’ Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth hopes for the latter.
The Cajuns, who locked up a share of the Sun Belt Conference title Saturday despite having their eight-game win streak snapped, will travel to face much-improved South Alabama on Saturday in their second-latest regular-season finale in a half-century. Hudspeth is hoping that December brings about a higher level of aggressiveness than he saw for most of last Saturday’s 31-28 upset home loss to ULM.
