well, after last nights debacle and hearing from SEVERAL PEOPLE AT UL that we were not limited to N.O bowl but we had another option courting us , im not getting any happier SCOTT FARMER ____ING ME OFF AND SAVIOE ACTING LIKE RAMOND BLANCO REGIME ( AKA RAY AUTHEMENT)
I'm a member of rcaf and donate a good chunk, haven't heard any of that
RCAF, Season Tickets for Football(10), Basketball(5), Softball(2), Baseball Box and have not heard any kind of dissing anyone from any bowl!!! But the Louisiana thing at the ballgame sucks, T-Joe!!! Bad
How could we dis them a week or two ago when they're contracted to other conferences and those conferences still can fill their spots?
And even if they were courting us why is it all of a sudden so bad to tell them no, last year everyone loved that we told them thanks, but no thanks.
Let me be clear- I'm not a fan of farmer at all. I don't think he is big time enough for where we all want to go, but to say we hung up on the I Bowl a couple of weeks ago is way off base
Something similar posted on the Sun Belt CSNBBS board....Thread: " Did UL turn down the Independence Bowl " ? Arkansas State fan who I guess knows some folks connected to Indy Bowl.
If Hudsbeth wanted the I-Bowl and Farmer and his cronies lobbied to get the Nola bowl instead of the I-bowl then Farmer needs to be fired.
This is hudsbeth team! I would not stay if i did not have complete control of my team and have to deal with being told what to do by our athletic director.
exactly BASIN BEAR Its no Kennedy assassination secret... but the info is starting to leach out
We may have most certainly turned them down, but it wasn't without hearing what they had to say.
If the info is from an stAte fan who is connected and this is the reason they don't go to a bowl, wouldn't you take his side of the story as one of three sides??
Did the I bowl not snub their nose at UL several years ago? Is this the big payback to the I bowl, now that UL can prove that we have bowl following power?
