Tim Buckley just tweeted that Hud reported that Broadway has a broken arm. He will have surgery Monday. Haack to get the start vs USA.

Broadway expected to play in the NO Bowl.

A fracture is a break. According to Buckley, HUD said surgery Monday.

They both mean the same thing.

A fracture and a break are not the same. You can have a fracture in a bone but it's still in place. A break needs to be reset and put back together with hardware.
