Turb, YES he DID bring it up late in his show. He specifically said that the PA was instructed to NOT say "Louisiana." Steve said he didn't know WHY or by WHO, and he was just as miffed as everyone else, since the game was at OUR stadium! He said he could see if we were "hosting" a conference tournament MAYBE, but he saw NO reason for the capitulation.....

Well when I said "no" he still had 20 minutes left in his show, so I should have said 'no not yet, but now I'm away from the radio'

Kevin just had his say on the issue. He said he totally understands our frustration with the administration "playing nice" with ulm. He said not to lose sight of the fact that the name "branding" is a long-term issue, and no matter if laws are passed in our favor, etc, it WILL be a while for our rivals to call us what we'd like to be called. That being said, his second point was that, in HIS mind, we may have GAINED by what happened. He said that it's very possible that the NON "Louisiana" may have gotten some of the "fence-sitters" to start caring about this issue! I guess we'll see...
