The Real Swamp — Back in August, before the first footballs were thrown, the University of Louisiana and ULM football teams were picked as the squads most likely to contend for the Sun Belt championship.

But things have a way of changing in a short period of time.

This week, the discussion at UL surrounds bowl games and clinching at least a share of a championship for the first time since 2005. At ULM, the scene is more somber, as the team contemplates its injuries and disappointment.
