Maybe people don't realize that bowl games are VERY VERY expensive! Tickets for the avg bowl game are over $100/seat. Yes, NOLA will likely raise the prices, maybe even this year, who knows, but college football ain't cheap.

You want to be a big boy...then be like the big boys.

I sat high up in the end zone of a Cotton Bowl game about 10 years ago, and paid $75 for it. That was the face value in the ticket.

Get used to it. We have to support this program if we want to be successful.

We set record crowds and they keep going up on the price!
If they say the payout is a million dollars, you will have your answer.

The tickets are the EXACT same price as last year. Where are you getting your info from?

There were reports of inflated deposits being required at certain outlets when there were three potential destinations.

My point being don't worry, if the price of the seat goes up the payout goes up just as much and payouts always generate a news release. So we would know.

If that is the case, that is great news! Some posters were saying it was going up.

    I'd handle a $10 increase.

I may be oversimplifying it, but 30,000+ tickets at $10 apiece is $300k more in revenue.

I think they were just looking on ticket resale (i.e. ticket scalping) sites. If you look on ticketmaster every seat is either $60 or $40, which is the exact same price it's been for years.

To put this question to rest officially, here's Tim Buckley:

Moral of this story is buy your tickets from the university. Unaffiliated websites can and do try to scalp tickets with inflated prices.

So the answer to the question is....yes, it is just you.
