First of all, I dont think Mullen is getting fired, but what in the world would make you think that McGuire would bolt for MSU if that does happen? I think Elijah is here for the long haul and their is no reason to through stuff like that out there.

You can take your prediction and shove it where the sun don't shine. For Elijah to transfer ANYWHERE at this point would be the dumbest move he could do. It has been proven that Sun Belt backs can get noticed and even start for NFL teams. If the talent is there, it's there... I don't care what jersey you have on your back.

Why in the world would a young stud back want to go transfer and start over his college career somewhere else when he has already made a statement of himself in this league, for this school, in this state.

I'm hearing it could be a triple whammy. Not only will HUD and McGuire leave, but Broadway wants to get closer to Baton Rouge and will play for Southern next year.

I could see that happening. I know for a fact Eli felt slighted in the recruiting process by the larger conferences. If he follows Hud it would be less of a starting over process than with a new coach here. Lets just hope Mullen is safe and Hud is here next year. I am sure his name will come up in every opening except maybe USC.

OK you guys want news ---here it is----La Bumba is out for the entire year and will get a medical R-Shirt-----With school being out EMcG is now, although very limited, working with the B-ball team---His practice is limited to shooting and learning the off and def----he will join the team and dress out after the NO Bowl on the 21st---This is another reason to play the game early so he can be the first in the state to get Freshman of the year in F-ball and B-ball!!!! Now somebody think up something better!!!! lol BTW Has anybody on here seen him play B-ball??? Marlin did mention his being very good!!!
