Guys, this game is never a "given". Monroe could have 5 cripples, 2 midgets, and 3 players over the age of 85 and they would still give us problems. We aren't good enough to blowout anyone.

You're right, we can't blow out anyone. There must have been a scoreboard malfunction for the Nichols game this year.

and while the scoreboard did not reflect it, the stAte game was a blowout on the field. 23-7 final was close, but it was no where near that close on the Scoreboard.

And there lies the difference between good and great. Great teams when they seem the chum in the water kick it into a higher gear and before you blink the game is over except for the clock running out.

And keeping things in perspective, we have been the chum plenty of times thru the years. Time to be the shark.
