I think if we were to change mascots from the Pepper to something else, there should be a sort of official selection committee formed to debate all aspects of new mascot ideas presented, then narrow it down to 5 or so and present the finalists to the students AND the alumni for a final vote.

I would support any mascot that comes from that process over the debacle we have now.
