Second week in a row I watched Browning showing futile anger, and frustration with his offensive line. Screaming and fist pumping at them, Loving it.

ULM is not our rivals, but only the next impediment to UL assuming an undefeated conference season.

I do hold special anger for their holier than thou attitude about the name thing. No doubt we never, ever pretended we would accept anything but UL, or Louisiana, not since 1984. The Hoax on the other hand, while pretending to want nothing to do with it they tried, in utter dismal failure, to garner that exact thing. Now nearly a decade later they have their minions, and president make a big public push to hamper us.

That is not hate for a rival, but contempt for an enemy dedicated to limiting us instead of growing themselves.

Jerry, you have very succinctly summed up my feelings about the WAAAAAAAAAHOAX. And I'd bet many others see it the same way.

BTW, I'm hearing from trustworthy sources that despite his public statements of "not caring" what we are called athletically he is actually working vigorously behind the scenes to thwart our efforts. In response to the conference's memo that they won't stop people from calling us UL or Louisiana Bruno notified Benson that they would then demand to also be called UL or Louisiana. Of course, Benson did not have the sack to tell Bruno to quit bring such a childish _____.

Rough weekend for sure...I'm still looking forward to the Cajuns game...in state games anything can happen...look at the game 2yrs ago in lafayette when the Cajuns won at the very end of the game...I think it could still be a close game if ULM brings the game they have shown at times this yr...just have been undisciplined and organized sporadically this yr

Some fn Debbie downers there...IMO you can't say you are a successful program after 1-2 winning seasons...it's a slow process with expectation built in that sometimes are not met...so I understand ULM fans frustration but after following both The Cajuns and warhawks (Cajuns longer) consistent success is hard to come by without paying for the right coach and AD...look at the Bustle yrs when he was at the bottom of the pay scale for coaches...I think Berry can be somewhat successful but a new coach is needed soon...only if we pay more for him...

This week should be fun with everyone looking forward to the game...I for one can't wait

Honest question, do you think ulm could pay a coach 850k-1million and have well paid assistants in the immediate future? Is there that kind of monetary support available and if so, what is the disconnect in your opinion

'one or two winning seasons'. Really we know it is not one or two, it is ONE, and then get humiliated in the Indy, a vision of Christmas future.

No...and that's a problem for sure...we have to stick withBerry for now...no way out...but with more organization and funding which could take 3+ yrs we could def pay a coach more than Berry makes...I say the younger the better after Berry...the job will be a stepping stone...like HUD IMO...
