Today is the day the Lafayette community will show this coaching staff and this group of players the gratitude they deserve for becoming outright conference champions, and giving us our first ten win season ever. I absolutely believe this will be one of the largest crowds in UL history. Maybe the largest. At least 35,000 people will be at Cajun Field today to see UL claim their first outright conference title.
I'm sure that there will be at least 35,000 there. It's that they have to leave the tailgating behind and get in the stadium. I hope that today is the day.
Predictions, huh?
If the Louisville Ave Boys Club, A/K/A Northeast JC travels like I think they will, they will add 230 students and 103 adults to our 27,478 "UL-UL-UL-UL"- chanting total, for a grand total of 27,811. We need to drop them in all sports if our conference affiliations ever cease because they do NOTHING for our program. NUTHINGGGGGGGG!
And we should fire any coach who schedules them in anything.
I was once asked if there was anything good about Monroe and I said yes. Delta airlines loves that area because it's a good place to flush their planes' sewage tanks from 33,000 feet.
But I think our fickle sorry ___ fan base will find a reason to not show. It aggravates me to no end to hear all these reasons, best hunting weekend of the season yada yada yada. I saw capacity in BR and Nebraska. There is no reason for us not to sell out and watch this team embarrass those ___ clowns from moanroe!
