LOL. It might get lassoed back.
Can't wait to get back to Lafayette.
If you're an internet person like me...here's some links to get you started:
Rebounders' Club: http://www.ragincajuns.com/pdf7/9249...00&SPSID=67311
Quarterback Club: http://www.ragincajuns.com/pdf7/8565...00&SPSID=82852
UL Fundraising Dept: http://www.uoflgifts.com/site10.php
And here's the link for summer camps (in case you have kids or want to volunteer some time): http://www.ragincajuns.com/evt/Event...B_OEM_ID=15400
There aren't many camps listed at this time, but I would assume that would change as summer got closer. Also, on the fundraising page, there is a link for a list of on-going projects. You might be interested in reading through them and seeing if you want to help with something more specific.
Glad you're interested, and I hope some of that helped!
I certainly appreciate all of the previous posts. I did email Karren about the Rebounders club and hope to hear from her soon. I'll try to contact Hunter as well. I'm really looking to do something more than just donating money if at all possible. I will do what I can but the football and basketball already cut me a little thin when you factor in the tailgating spot and food etc.... I guess I'm being a little selfish as I also want to use it a bit for networking possibilities as well.
We have many projects that do not require money. Right now there is a call for cleaning up the baseball stadium, and I am sure you can network with both football and basketball types there. We did a major spruce up about four years ago as a group of volunteers in the summer before the football season.
Gerald Hebert is your guy if you want to network.
