Lil Ned worked his tail off on that project. Proud of the school and the team!
Schools that launched satellites:

(It won't be long before LSUA&M tries to steal this too.)
Did we get a video camera there to record everything? Because THAT would make a good commercial.
"The University of Louisiana: Lifting off and Light-Years Ahead of the Competition"
Please get rid of our present commercial NOW and make one with Cajun music and food and culture while contrasting it with our high TEch stuff!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Thomas Jefferson High School...I wanna see what that satellite looked like. If it wasn't made out of old, discarded McDonald's Big Mac boxes...I will be so disappointed.
A NASA Minotaur I rocket blasted off from a launch pad in Virginia at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, carrying the University of Louisiana’s communications satellite into orbit, the second space payload in six years for the university.
A group of 30 that included UL engineering professors and engineering students counted down from 10 and let out a loud cheer as the rocket left the launch pad.
Congrats to UL Engineering.
But we need to change the headline for this thread. When I saw that UL was launching a second satellite it got me wondering what city was going to join Monroe in hosting a satellite campus of UL?
Suck it, Hoax. You'll always be a pimple on the UL System's ___.
