Gardner helped UL volleyball to 19-win season

Adjusting to college life is tough for any freshman. Chanelle Gardner had her struggles early adjusting to college volleyball after a successful four years at St. Martinville High School.

But thanks to her teammates on the UL volleyball team, Gardner was able to adjust and help the Ragin’ Cajuns to 19 wins in the regular season. That’s the most wins the program has had since 1997.

I know that in the 6 seasons before Coach Mazeitis came to UL in 2008 the volleyball program had averaged 7.5 wins per season.

I need to see what her 6 year average is.

great time to also bring in sandvolleyball. volleyball in general is a fast growing sport pretty much everywhere now. Competes extremely well with basketball for the tall players.

I know in the elementary schools most girls play either volleyball or soccer. It is difficult to find girls to play basketball. Volleyball has a chance to develop into being as popular as softball.
