Hundreds attend UL preview

More than 600 high schoolers checked out what UL had to offer during the university's Preview Day. Some graduating high school seniors like Derek Christian were there to visit their future university, while others were hoping the day would help them narrow down their choices for their future. Christian, a senior at Northeast High outside Baton Rouge, plans to major in electrical engineering in the fall. "I'm positive that I'm coming here," the high school basketball player said. We went with son #2. He will be heading to UL in the Fall. Son #1 graduated from UL in Dec.! The Preview Day was very nice, and the turn-out was impressive. Overall, it was much better than the last time I went with #1.
