After two straight road losses, Bob Marlin thinks his University of Louisiana men’s basketball team can generate some momentum by recalling what the Cajuns accomplished in football following similar circumstances only two months ago.
The UL football team started the 2013 season 0-2 after losing the first two games at Arkansas and Kansas State.
Marlin said on Monday during his weekly news luncheon that the initial plight of the Cajuns’ football team could serve as motivation for his team, which lost a pair of nonconference road games this past weekend at Arkansas (75-63) and Baylor (87-68).
