They get paid the lowest salaries of any FBS program.
You want to be ACC level, or Big 12, or AAC, even Conf. USA right? That's what all the banter is about, so pay what they pay. Get the shovel in the ground and start building this dream facility. Great coaches recruit..there are some damn good coaches working over on Reinhardt drive right now..They have a good thing going.

The pay has risen substantially since Hudspeth has taken over. I don't believe that we are at the bottom or that close to the bottom anymore. I don't think we are in the top half either but I don't think we are last either.

Back to the point at hand. He is right we need better personal at the LB and DB position. What I do see is Hud, likes to redshirt unless your a sure fire like E. McGuire. if you are a younger borderline player, Hud will redshirt you which will pay big dividends on the back end. To be honest, the strategy has worked so far.the only place he has missed so far is on the JUCO transfers at DB.

No matter how many games Coach Hudspeth wins at UL, two things are still holding the program back....Sun Belt Conference and Facilities. And will continue to be a concern even after the First Phase is completed because the second phase will need to be completed in order to compare yourself to any BCS program.

How for off are we from a date to start phase 2? We have not heard anything recently except starting phase one.

Guys remember that the APF which is basically all the facilities that will bump the IPF are due to start as soon as the season is over --this is part of phase I and will be completed by next year hopefully naturally all the existing Cox building will be used for administration for a while until the Phase II stadium project is completed --this will be the total movement to Cajun field and the tearing down of the CoX building!!!! But just the South End zone and the extra seats to the press box side near the North E Z will be cool and the Locker rooms etc fabulous!!!!
