$90,000-plus award is part two of three-year, $1.2M program
UL student service learning projects centered on hurricane recovery for South Louisiana were awarded $92,743 by the UL System.
The grant program is funded by a three-year, $1.2 million grant to the system from the Learn and Serve America division of the Corporation for National and Community Services.
This award round was the second phase of the three-year grant program.
Last year, more than 3,000 students participated and generated more than 14,000 volunteer hours with 95 community partners.
