The Tulane stadium is nice but only holds 4500 people. You have all this renovations but how can you hold a regional there? Where will you sit at?
Well, I guess as long as you have a big pressbox you can hold a regional.

Baseball is making some big plans for that new stadium. I have kinda heard about the football stadium, adding some suites above the student section to bring the young alumni back. (It would be BYOB and ice chest allowed, but can't sell)

No not across Congress, across Reinhert Dr.(probably spelled that wrong). Towards the Congress side of the current shelled parking area. Where the fair is currently. Still school land, and still in the Cajun Sports Complex.

I find it unacceptable that people STILL refuse to acknowledge our waterskiing program as the most successful sports group in our university's history. How many National Titles does softball have? ZERO.

And I could think of worse things to look at than a completely finished indoor practice facility from left field. It's like looking at a fully operational Death Star. And besides, you don't go to the game to look at grass outside the stadium. The practice facility isn't blocking any sort of spectacular view. If people want to make improvements, build a new baseball facility wherever they can put it, knock down the (old) Tigue in order to improve parking in the complex (or put up some new offices or a weight room where the Tigue was), and do whatever improvements need to be done to Lampson and the Track facility.

Not NCAA sanctioned, is it? Kind of like Tech crowing about their bowling team....LOL!!

You cant compare a club sport to an NCAA sanctioned sport. Those guys and gals work very hard no doubt, but only a few schools compete. Different set up for softball etc.

We could move baseball, and use that spot to extend the track arena in case we get some bad ass javelin throwers.

I don't have any idea what is being planned, but if some of this is true, what do ya'll think about building a new baseball facility and converting the old "Tigue" into a first class softball facility?

Ok guys, I just can't keep it a secret any longer...

UL is building a BIO Dome over the swamp, it will be sponsored by SUBZERO, and will be the world's only cryogenic swamp. Grace's Arctic Curling Swamp, is set to open February 30th, 2009, and will feature live penguins and polar bears, and serve as UL's very own indoor curling arena. This will be the largest facility of it's kind, in the world. Ms. Grace has been retained to lead the training program in UL's newest sport, and has been granted extensive leeway in both the design and training aspects of the project. Please pay careful attention as she shares some technical terms and expert advice concerning the project:
