Don't like this helmet. It doesn't look good unless it's in a close- up. Not enough contrast against the black helmet.

Agree. Same issue with the red FDL on the black jersey. They looked cool up close but TV video muddles the colors together.

I have been meaning to ask this question: can anyone educate me on what the gold and red FDLs on the back of the helmet represent?

Stickers are a joke.... unless you are in 2nd grade, then they are AWESOME!!!

In my opinion, the stickers are pointless.

Can anyone please explain how does Brooks Haack (a back up QB with 7 career pass attempts) have 16 stickers (probably maybe more, but I can't see) on his helmet?

I believe you can earn them in practice as well.

I am sure you can. When I was in high school, one member of the scout team would get one each week. Sort of a "Scout Team Player of the Week." I really liked this as a lot of people fail to realize the importance of a good scout team to help prepare the team every week. I really like the idea of classroom stickers as well.

@GreatestStory When I played we loved the incentive stickers. I would imagine most kids still do these days. As "childish" as it may seem, if done right it is a great way to recognize these kids accomplishments for going out there each and every day and working their asses off to give us a little entertainment on Saturdays (or Tuesdays)

I totally understand the purpose of the stickers, as we were also awarded them when I played.

I just think it cheapens the reward when the same stickers are given to someone who "practiced hard" and to someone who threw the game winning TD. If you are going to say that "both guys are equally important to the team's success"... you are absolutely right, so I see no need to give either one a sticker.

There may be no "I" in "TEAM", but I got more stickers on my helmet than you! Nanny nanny boo-boo.

Well we could reward them with a tshirt but that almost got us the death penalty. It's the only way to reward a player without it being improper benefits...for now

Wow. WTF cares? If giving the 5th string RB a sticker keeps him involved then cover that _____ up with stickers! We aren't talking about handing out Heisman Trophies to the scout team.
