UL football coach Mark Hudspeth has taken to the track in an effort to put the Ragin’ Cajuns’ first nine games of 2013 in perspective.

“It’s sort of like a horse race this year,” said Hudspeth, whose 7-2 Cajuns are riding a seven-game win streak heading into today’s Sun Belt Conference game against 0-9 Georgia State.

“We sort of stumbled out of the gates a little bit. It took us a while to get to the rail. Once we got (there), we started making up some ground and we’ve improved each game.”
