Stove was ranked No. 3 in the latest NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune Super 16 and is the highest-ranked player from the Baton Rouge area on the list. Stove is a two-time state champion at Christian Life (2010, 2012) and was named the MVP of the state title ...
Go CAJUNS!
3 of top 13 in state. Impressive class
Can he shoot from the outside???
Looking at the Picayune's list, the No. 1 and No. 2 players signed with Memphis and Tennessee respectively. Impressive for the Cajuns to sign a guy right below those two. I looked at the video of the Stove interview and he mentioned how much he enjoyed the visit when he came for homecoming. Definitely a case of football helping basketball.
Hope he can shoot. He mentions in the video that our other 2 commitments had been working him, trying to get him to commit. Good to see.
My story for Cajun Redzone with quotes from Stove and a rep from his travel team should answer your question:

This is huge
So #3 or #4 depending on article Johnathon Stove SF 6'4" 215# from Christian Life
#6 or #7 also depends on article Scott Plaisance PF 6'9" 210# from Country Day
and #12 Bryce Washington F 6'6" 225# from St Augustine
Pretty damn impressive, and wait till coach Marlin starts working with them!
