Thread: Anyone have any feed back on this young gun?

  1. #1

UL Football Anyone have any feed back on this young gun?

Andrew Hebert (WR, 6'2", 195) from Teurlings Catholic in Lafayette. He is receiving mail from LSU, Connecticut, Houston and ULL. Hebert's dad, Jake Hebert, was a four-year starter in the offensive line for the Cajuns. Hebert is currently playing basketball and is averaging around 12 points per game and is a member of the Teurlings baseball team. Hebert has a 2.5 GPA and has not taken the ACT. Hebert's Summer plans are uncertain at this time.

    This was from another site.
He is a junior this year. I was looking for any thoughts from people who have seen him play.
Or any news if he will be attending the camp at UL?
Anybody have any more stats? 40's, etc.

They could use the size at WR if he is truly 6'2"....

As a TCH alum, I would love Andrew to become a Cajun. He put up some really good numbers and would thrive at UL.

But Elliot Hebert, TCH RB/whatever he feels like being, is the real deal. He finished the season as the Acadiana Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team 5-4A All-District and Honorable Mention on the All-State team. Finished the year with 1281 total yards for the Rebels (676 rushing, 392 receiving, 210 returning, 3 passing) and 16 total TDs.

Not real sure of Elliot's classification though. One spot on TCH's site said he is a junior, the other a senior.

I think that Elliot Hebert committed to play baseball at either Alabama or Miss State.

If watched him play in six games this season. Andrew Hebert has great hands and runs routes extremely well. He will be receiving more mail then just those few programs. What seperates Andrew from being an elite prospect is his forty time. if he gets it down in the 4.5's then he will get some BCS offers.

You're probably confusing him Taylor Dugas. Taylor was the QB for the last couple years at TCHS. He has committed to play baseball at Bama.

Ya'll are hillllarious !!! Why don't you just send your recruit ideas in to the coordinator like I do? The more eyes the better. And I believe that Fred is Marks dad and Bobs brother by a different mother and possibly mother also. TH

He is a solid football player and he will only get better and bigger. He is a legit 6'2" but is not extremely fast. He would be better fitted at TE which is where he made All-State as a Sophomore before moving to fullback this season. Sonny is not sure where he will play next year. I'm not sure about the 12 points a game in high school because he isn't much of a shooter. He loves to bang and likes contact and would probably make a really solid college player for UL. I would think that he would lean to us due to his dad (Jay) and his twin brother played for us and are big backers. We'll have to see.

Elliot is a senior, finished his high school career with over 64 Td's.
