Good for him. Good luck, Coach M!
Source tells FootballScoop former Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns offensive coordinator Jorge Munoz is joining the LSU staff as an offensive analyst. Munoz, who served as an assistant at UL from 2008-17, split his ten seasons at UL coaching receivers and quarterbacks, holding pass game coordinator much of his tenure and offensive coordinator title the 2016 season

Munoz got a closing thanks from Burrow at the Heisman ceremonies.
I thought he looked familiar. He was the last one to get a handshake from Joe.
That's awesome!
Nice! Congrats, Coach Munoz! And kudos to Burrow.
For Burrow to single him out in his trophy acceptance speach speaks volumes about his teaching ability and influence.
And to second that....for Mike Detillier, who is one of the more respected football analysts day in and day out who studies players, coaches and teams for a living, having regular conversations with Orgeron commenting he and Orgeron view Munoz as having a brilliant offensive mind pretty much should quiet all the negative Munoz noise (not fingerprinting at anyone). Past results are foggy under previous coaches. This past year placed Munoz in “clear view”. To elaborate on Munoz’s primary responsibilities and what really endeared him to Burrow, in particular; Jorge would study each opponents blitz packages and tendencies preparing Ensminger, Brady and Burrow what to expect on down situations. First and second down blitz recognition offense was practiced on Monday, Tuesday. Third down on Wednesday. That is what I know. What I’ve seen was Munoz on the field with headset on, no doubt in communication with Ensminger and Brady in the press box while having direct verbal communication with Burrow on the field during timeouts. I noticed Jorge with the offense during a timeout early in the game against Clemson. He was in “overdrive” no doubt due to the blitzes Brent Venables was throwing at Burrow. Burrow’s play reflected his preparation...the adjustments made early in the game had Coach Munoz influence...sorry for long winded response.
Should Coach Munoz be offered and accept a more lucrative and much publicized position, whether it is Joe Brady’s vacated spot or any other, we should all be singing his praises as committed Ragin CAJUN supporters we are!!
