His first full-time coaching title was “offensive coordinator,” in 2001 and 2002 at Anderson University, an NCAA Division III program in Indiana.
His next gig overseeing an offense came at FCS Eastern Illinois, where he was co-coordinator in 2006 and coordinator in 2007.

This is the best coach interview I've seen from any Cajun coach I can remember. I think he will do a good job. I just hope he gets good play out of his QB.
Why did we hire Simon as a receivers coach? Wasn't he a running backs coach at USM and also a running back in his career?
