UL Football Future Football Scheduing for Louisiana

Here is a link to future schedule, in regards to this website, of Louisiana and other college programs.

    http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sun-...gin-cajuns.php

I think I can speak for most of the fanbase when saying this years schedule was sub par, minus the first two games, but definitely in terms of our home games.

Looking at next year, Southern and La Tech should bring some great crowds. Not top notch programs. I definitely was impressed with Southern after their last trip here. La Tech. Well, anytime the puppies agree to an 60 min obedience class, I'm glad to watch. Our two BCS away games are against Ole Miss and Boise. Hopefully, we get our feet on the ground after the Southern game to play these two teams better than our first two this year vs Ark/K St. We do get Ark St. here next year at home as well.

2015- Website is showing Akron coming here, and a road game at La Tech. Question I have is does anyone know who the BCS team will be?, any rumors?, can we please get a Home/Away contract for the future.

2016- Great to see Boise St. coming here, just hoping they are still the Boise we know today. Anything could happen in the next few years. They have lost a couple this year. Also, Tulane should be a good road game to go see us play.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on how others feel about the upcoming season schedules. Who would ya'll think may be a good opponent to play for 2015 BCS team?

Purple and nacho cheese would be a nice opponent. It would be a lot of fun and I could easily drive there. I doubt they have any intention of scheduling a game with us. They would rather play schools that bring no one and not risk losing a game to us.

Is the Mountain West a BCS conference? I have lost track of who is special and who is not.

I guess a better way of saying BCS would be from the Big 5 conferences: ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and PAC12.

Even playing the better teams from the Mountain West/CUSA/MAC/American. With those teams it may be easier to get a home/away schedule. Similar to the Boise deal.

I'd just like to see some return visits. I know money is the name of the game but as a fan I'd like to see our home schedule improve.

I have to say that I think that was another item to thank Skip Bertman about. He believed in scheduling in state schools in baseball (even home/home), and I think he was the one who initiated LSU having a rotating schedule of playing one in state school every year. He realized he could play someone in driving range, have a bigger turnout at the stadium for seating and concession revenues, and save on having to pay someone's expenses with a million dollar guarantee to bring them in from out of state. In other words, LSUA&M makes more money.
