    Default Pee Wee

Pee Wee has one to two catches a game for the Chargers. Granted, the Chargers have an "all-world" TE in Gates, but I think the Chargers are under utilizing Pee Wee. In this age of "basketball" size TE's, Pee Wee has the height advantage. He also has speed and is an excellent run blocker. I know I am a homer, but this is a fan homer site and think he has a great chance to be successful in the league.

Be patient. Gates can't be a contributor much longer.

He will, he is learning from one of the best who is getting older and often injured. He will get his chance with the chargers or someone else. Maybe the saints...chargers are pretty good at giving us players that turn out to be great

Gates is about to fall apart. If Gates holds on for another year or two...LG should be a free agent soon. Then...it's up to Seattle to help Russell Wilson further dominate the NFL.

You are right. It's hard to be patient when you know there is talent there.

every time Gates makes a catch the announcers GUSH about how good he can be

I think I may have found our future TE---VIEUX---Love the way he runs the court---What he makes up for JJ sure does lack---JJ needs to lose weight now to help this team---It is a shame and I know he has lost 40 lbs----but the retained weight is still like baby fat----he has a very nice touch and I think 90% of this board might have a better vertical!!!! The game looks a bit fast to him now and that will improve---things like holding on to a rebound and quicker hand movement!!!

Everyone else seems to know how great he can be, except the coaching staff. They'll figure it out soon. Gates is who Rivers always looks to in critical situations as they've played together Rivers's whole career. Green will be a good to great NFL TE, whether in SD or elsewhere.

Boomer, just got back from eating a big lunch so I my blood sugar may still be low, but I am trying to figure out what your post has to do with Pee Wee and playing time.

I agree with almost everything you said. The only thing I don't agree with is him being an excellent run blocker. He's getting better, but it's a work in progress.
