I agree that Dison may have been a good move. After all, in the 2nd half neither Dees or Milsap were doing much. David could have been more effective had he hit some free throws. Wallace also had a bad game. Johnson did OK blocking shots. Seems like every time he did, it went into the hands of a Trojan for a layup. It will be tough Saturday at UNT as they won easily at ASU last night.
Randell did have a tough time as the guys trapping him were quite bigger than he physically. Guys setting picks to help him were not very effective. Randell will improve as he matures and having bigger post guys to throw the entry pass into would also be a benefit. That would make it more difficult to trap the point guy.
This was a very frustrating loss. After watching the game, I was not impressed with UALR's team. We just played sloppy, turning the ball over too much.
And you CANNOT allow a team to go on an 18-0 run.
I was somewhat impressed by UALR. Their aggressiveness on defense forced many of those turnovers. Physically, their guards had an advantage on Daigle and our skinny wing players when they trapped. We need to get more bulk on our guys. Having said that, I would not be surprised if we win at home as it was a one point game with five minutes remaining.
