"I just work out and keep my books in order. I am getting real close to qualifying. I am really close. I have a 17 on the ACT, and I need a 19."

This is why, if he isn't eligible now, he more then likely will take the ACT again in Feb. after signing day. So the question is do you offer him and save a scholarship passing on another prospect that is eligible? Or do you sign the the eligible athlete and offer him a grayshirt opportunity? Odds are, he wants someone to take the risk with him and he is not willing to pay his own way to grayshirt. I think someone will more then likely give him a shot later, especially if they loose out on another propect.

The Cajuns are full on the line, we have Odom,Ruiz,Duhon and Osborne coming in this year.

What do you know about our schedule in 2008? Seems last discussion showed Akron/Kent State? was a done deal, with UTEP in the works>

Now another thread seems to believe that UTEP is a done deal and we are still looking for a 5th home game...

    Know anything about that, T?

Who knows Zee! I heard the same, Kent State was a done deal and we were negotiating with UTEP. Of course if will get Curry, Price will not do us any favors over at UTEP.

According to espn, the TE from Dutchtown was being recruited as an OT. They just wanted to add some beef to him but turn him into a tackle. Is this correct Cajun T? I would actually prefer him at TE but just curious. I love Odom and Plouhar on the line. Not sure about Duhon just because at his size, you would expect that he would have gotten more attention.

We just got a commitment from a JUCO DT that originally was set to go to Kansas. We also have a JUCO LB and a JUCO DB committed.
