I remember reading on here that the state only allows a certain amount of tax dollars to pay for a college coaches salary... The remaining amount must come from private donors... Can anyone send me a link to a site where this is discussed?

Here is another stupid poll by the advertiser regarding Hud's Salary.
Im looking for a break down of how the coaches are paid. For example...200,000 from state + 500,000 from RCAF= 800,000
Lol
Yikes
My bad 300,000+500,000=800,000
If one could measure the financial impact of the success of the UL football program (athletics, sales, business, Master Plan, etc.) since Hud's arrival and turned that into a dollar figure, how much of an influence, if any, would that bring to discussions about new contract and a raise for Hud? My concern is MSU may come calling. Mullens makes over $2M a year.
We need to get Huds salary up to 1M. If he's making that with good job security here I like our chances at keeping him.
