WoW!!!!!!!!!
Is football success, and a blind squirrel find in EP creating better results for Marlin. Sure looks so.
Great news....looks like we are steadily making progress.
So that's #6 and #13 on the T-P Super 16
I can see this guy playing at the 2 or 3 spot for the Cajuns. I loved it when we had all of those big guards during Jesse's era.
I know these are quality players and they will do well here, but it concerns me which schools we are beating for these players. If Tulane, Texas State (Washington) and Wofford (both) are the best schools (behind us) recruiting these guys, what is it about them that's keeping better programs from recruiting them?
My story third in the past week on Bryce Washington, who has committed to the Ragin' Cajuns ($): http://louisiana.scout.com/2/1344113.html

You are a total fool. One of the better big men transferred to UL from Woford. Reginald DeGray while not a star at Woford or UL was a great team player, a smart player who made a lot of right decisions and win a lot of games. Do not let bigger names mean better players cross you up. Yes it is true many times, but I guess that kid from Weber State who became a first round NBA did not have a host of power colleges knocking down his doors.
Please dude, the voice of reason belongs in a coaches meeting not a fan board. We get it better than you think, give these fans a lick of confidence. There is hardly ever going to be a great player coming to UL without some sort of wart.
Oh, by the way, I love how you always couch your negativity. He will be great here, but why is he coming year, what is wrong with him that Kintucky did not want him. Your kids must have loved your evaluation when grades came home.
It's not necessary for you to demean me just because you read something into what I said that isn't there. I haven't insulted your intelligence or character, you shouldn't do so to mine.
There's a difference between a high school recruit and a college transfer. Reggie chose to take his abilities to a better program after he developed them on the collegiate level, which is why he left Wofford and came here. A recruit has yet to fully adapt to the college game, but, based upon his ability, certain colleges want him to develop them in their program. St. Augustine and Country Day are two of the stronger basketball programs in our state, and these are high level players from those teams. I was questioning why stronger college programs were not recruiting them, such as Mississippi State, LSU, Southern Mississippi, Houston, Louisiana Tech and others. I didn't make a subjective guess as to why, I asked a question.
"A wart?" Why would a great player have to have a "wart" if he's coming here? Or am I reading something into that line that you didn't mean to say or isn't really there?
Negative. Humph. I'll try to be more positive.![]()
