the replay never showed the roughing I think that was a ghost call just like the clean pass interference.

They showed a replay of the roughing. It was legit. What wasn't legit was the phantom pass interference call in the end zone. It was a clean tip.
Niu is beatable. Look at their schedule...

I don't understand how that schedule is worthy of producing a BCS buster????
Troy Recap/Post Game
http://youtu.be/q9DyBKvPJXs
Game plan all along was to not give up the big play as per Hud at Tuesday QB Club meeting. This was due to the fact our coaches observed the Trojans tended to bog down in the end zone. Also, if you were aggressive they hit the big play on almost everyone so the game plan ended up being the correct move in the end. When you consider we lost the turnover battle by 2, we had guys sick, had a short week, and the calls went against us all night (except for the late INT call), it is not surprising the game was close. As things turned out the game plan ended up being the right approach. Now we could have been a little more crisp which would have helped out. The pass Broadway threw for a pick six came on a play on which we would have been wiser running the ball. Trying to throw deep on third down is also something I wondered about. The way Troy stopped Harris in the 2nd half makes me wonder if we should have tried more quick hitting pass plays. The interference call now came on a good play call. We were not going to make a first down running the ball and wise of our coaches to switch it up.
Moving on to other stuff, any of you think Troy purposely planned to go after McGuire on the play in which a guy was ejected for targeting. Finally, I think the attendance considering the circumstances was outstanding. How many other mid-majors could draw almost 23000 on a cold windy week night in which folks could watch on TV. East Carolina is the only one in the south I can think of. In retrospect, last night was a great win in more ways than one.
What is missing from the roughing call analysis is the FACT that Hamilton was held on that play.
Man, hearing that Broadway had the Flu on Wednesday and did not sleep at all Wednesday night and then comes out and plays that game is amazing! Hats off to TB for manning up and even playing much less scoring 4TDs.
