Isn't the hockey team a club sport, not a University sport? I thought that it was not funded by the University, therefore could not gain revenue.

No it's funded through the University, but it doesn't come out of the athletics budget. I think it comes out of the rec sports budget. Still he is right, if they were able to move it to blackham, and get up to NCAA D-1 level, then it could bring in some money. But that doesn't mean it isn't fun to go watch right now. The bad part is that it's a ways away from the dome.

Blackham would be great for the program. I've been to the hockeyplex many times but I would not travel 2 hours for a few hundred fans watching what would be up north a high school game. I would love to see several thousand chanting "Geaux Cajuns" in the little used Blackham and I would travel for that.

I notice on the schedule that the CAJUNS play their last 2 games against Tulane there. Does ANYONE know where the Tulane club has been playing their home games??

Very good question. Not to many places to play in NOLA. Where are they going to make the ice?

I just remember the Brass playing at the Arena back in the hayday of the ECHL in Louisiana (with the IceGators, the Kingfish and the Brass). There's no way they would be doing that now, though. I just hope they're not doing it at some Hockey-Plex-type place across the Lake somewhere.
