----Now guys I had posted this but the first persong that talked about how good JJ would be was my wife---As we watched the Abbeville HS state championship game she said that he would be a good college player (he did have a good game)----my reply was maybe at offensive tackle----he just might do both!!!

JJ would be a nice OT has great foot work for a big guy he would have a better shot playing pro football than basketball if he would try out for football he probably would start.

JJ will have one year of eligibility left once basketball is over, I would not be surprised if he tries to play football.

What is it with Vermilion Parish boys and their love of basketball.

Rhett Hebert was a State Champion tennis player. He had scholarship offers from all over the country.

JJ could have played football for just about anybody... He followed his love and just participated in the Big Dance.

Rhett also decided to forgo the obvious route and was willing to play basketball as a walk on, eventually he worked his way into a starter role, and was on the last team that went to the NCAA big dance.
