Can we have a name change forum?

Late arrival, huh Mike? In the fall semester of 1973, my Senior research project in Demographics recommended that the name of the University be changed the 'The University of Louisiana' based on academics and on marked changes in the geographic distribution of the student population away from a local institution toward a national university. It has been 'UL' in my mind since then.

I was with you then in spirit, good buddy! I was in the hospital from most of 1970-73 after suffering two very bad accidents to my head, face and back! Great job!

I agree with Chop. Lets have a name issue thread. Call me crazy, but I like watching the games and care very little about what some announcer or journalist calls us.

The hoax have fallen into the name trap. They're sunk now that they are trying "Louisiana's Warhawks". Nothing says "I'm suffering from SDS like Louisiana's Warhawks."

I agree a separate forum, we have an important game Thursday.
