LAFAYETTE — Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns golf team may not be happy with the overall result at this week’s Rice Intercollegiate.

But the Cajuns were excited when senior Theo Sliman (plus-9) shot a rare hole-in-one on the par three, 173-yard sixth hole at the Blackhorse North Golf Course.

Sliman’s hole-in-one helped him to a final round of 73, just one over par. His three-round total of 225 was tops among Cajun golfers and put him in a tie for 19th overall, 16 strokes back of tournament winner Scott Harrington of Northwestern.
