I really try to refrain from reading and posting a whole lot on the name thing because, quite frankly, it will drive me nuts and it would likely turn my daily life into one negative blur. However, I am confused as to what he said about this "equal partnership" between the two schools. I never took this law that was hastily written to be any type of partnership between the schools but rather a forced hand marriage. Am I remembering this scenario wrongly?

So....frankly they don't care....LSU is certain they know who they are....why all the fuss!! Because frankly we don't care what they think and wears certain who we are!

Oh how I remember, especially after seeing Dr Fisher this w/E who was the alumni Chair at the time---Don't ____ people off!!! We had all the signs with "KISS MY S GOODBYE" brought them to BR and had our asses handed to us---Things are going in a positive direction and let this die !!!! Experience can be a wonderful teacher and for those who were involved a very bitter defeat---hammer this really is important to not stir crap at this time!!!!

Weak argument all the way around, UL Lafatyette is not trying to be a flagship and they are not trying to change the official name of the university, the only thing they are asking for is to be what they want to be called athletically, UL, Louisiana or Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. No ULL and no UL @ Lafayette. Learn your facts and then rewrite this peice of >>>> article.
