Was this a letter to the editor?
Anyway, if that happens, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
what happens? you can take your wife out to dinner without having to worry about your crazy ex girlfriend sitting in your line of sight in the corner booth that's what
Go ahead Funroe and try to walk away from ULM. Alice Shoe won't let you. And if you could, please do. No provision for a university opting out. Focus Cajun fans, quit bringing up distractions.
Meh
Nothing.
The law says two must change. It doesn't say anything about what happens if one later changes it's mind.
Two changed. The name is legal. Monroe can't divest us of the name if they get cold feet.
If the legislature wanted the name to revert back, they would have included it in the law.
LA law at its finest.
I believe the law is written in a way that any of the ULS schools can only change their name to UL @ city tag. Once that it is done, their are no other options!
If LA Tech wants to change their school name in any possible way, their only option is University of Louisiana at Ruston.
These clowns are delusional with this "partnership" bull____. However the do sound like the stereotypical shrew wife constantly nagging and badgering her husband and then wondering why she doesn't get any flowers.
It's also amusing that they think Decker is some official voice of the University and hang their hat on his dumbassed editorial as being an "official admission".
Good riddance Monroe! Can you go back to Arkansas now?
University of Arkansas at Monroe....I like it. UAM Warhawks!
& still find something whine about. It's what they do.
Why do they keep posting these poorly thought out articles? First, Bill Decker is in no position to "admit" anything. Second, the name "rules" stated that two of the eligible institutions had to opt in. There is no provision for an opt out. It no more disqualifies us as it allows an opt out of ULM. Third, ULM came up with "ULM" as they had the right to do. We didn't come up with "ULL". So, why would we ever use "ULL" if we never chose to. It isn't in the rules that we have to use "ULL"... ever. Fourth, there was never, ever an explicit or implied "equality" between UL and ULM. "Equality"? "Partner"? BS!
What's this weak ___ ____ about "equals"?
