I would think parking is first available.
Boomer, think about your heart.
I don't know can you ever park at the Cajun dome for anything, seriously?
Let's get a report especially on the newcomers for those of us who cannot attend.
I'll try and post some from the game
Very excited basketball season is here and hope this years team can bring some more excitement back into the city

Again I am worried about the size of the kids inside when we go against the biggies---BUT we are pretty damn good with our defense, speed, quickness, and ball control----Shooting is a lil suspect but I think we have Way more depth than in the past ---Thought that just about all the players could contribute!!!-----I think that the guys are really missing MBambalou----but we went with EP, Brown, Moore, Wronk, and Long to start----like the ladies we definitely have more depth---Vieux is interesting, JJ is a load and learning although he needs to lose some baby fat and really to hit the weight room, Lanka not ready yet, Wronk hit some 3s, EP needs to lead and create some opportunities for himself and team mates, i still love Shepherd, Moore is a little More with the extra year of playing, Long is our best player, Rimmer is huge (FB in football), Register didn't get many chances---Think they will be fun to watch---jR-Pagin well represented as Raoul, Brock Meaux, Mel Rock, along with Terri and I had a great time--BTW Slick Ricks mom had to be rushed to the hospital and keep her in your prayers!!!
Here are my thoughts on the men's game.
I don't think you can take much positive or negative from last night's exhibition game as the Cajuns just went through the motions for most of the night. The one thing that encouraged me was what I saw out of 6'9" freshman Vieux Kande. For a guy that size he runs the floor well and is very active on the glass. He and Long were on the floor together for only a short time but I hope we see that more often as the season goes along. Matchups probably prevented that from happening last night as William Carey had a lot of quick guys and we had to have some of our quick guys in order to defend them on the perimeter. I am not too worried about the free throw shooting as we hit over 80% in our exhibition last year and still struggled in that regard at times during the season. We also hit around a dozen threes in last year's exhibition and were not nearly that consistent when it counted. I do know we need to play better when McNeese comes to the Dome next Tuesday and we likely will.
C-Mike good post--but didn't it look like there wasn't too big of a drop off with the subs in the game???
Nice summary Mike. I would add a couple of things, I think Kasey Shepherd is going to be a good back up at the point guard position. I hope JJ gets a lot of playing time, he is a monster setting the screen, some times maybe a little too physical. Overall I think the team is improved and we will learn more when they start playing some better competition. There were always in control of the game and game was never in doubt and Marlin was able to rest Payton legs. Anyway, I am excited to see what this team will do.
