When my kids originally talked about possibly going to UL, that was one of the things that I was hoping was still around.. them things were great! Only thing better than that was a Poppa Q Burger!

How about the dam burgers at/outside "the Yellow rose" bar. I ate enough of those dam things, also.

Yeah, definitely part of the graduation fees. Not free. Speaking of bricks and alumni donating, though, the Alumni Association sells framed replicas of your brick for a $75 donation.

A few photos of the current work being done in the quad. They have started placing the brick pavers with names along with blank pavers.

The only section of covered walk with the original stucco ceiling. This area is between OK Allen Hall and Lee Hall. (The covered walks leading to Martin Hall were constructed later) The covered walk around the quad had the ceiling replaced with vinyl siding several years ago and it looks really bad.



I saw two groups of people out today looking for their bricks. I'm thinking this will be a "go to" spot when it is finished.
