Just put Louisiana. That is not a violation. If anyone questions it, you answer this is the name of the state we live in Just in case visitors get confused.

Doesn't look like this well be finished in time for the fall semester. How did this project get so far off track?

This project need to be complete ASAP, the quad was always so beautiful. I know progress takes time, but this looks horrible.

I was never a big fan of the quad. It always seemed so sparse.

Well it won't be 'sparse' after the project is completed; and it will still be one of the biggest, nicest, open green space on an otherwise relatively compact/urban campus.

When I was in school there were no sidewalks down the center of the quad, we would play football there on the weekends. My point is that now it looks like East St Louis with the fence and the weeds.

Wow starting to sound like my parents "and we walked in the snow to school, uphill both ways"

Yes, I remember it well when it just an open space. Lots of mud-sliding, etc after rain storms, lol. And there was a lot of rumbling about losing all that openness when they did the first makeover.
All in all, much better with trees, sidewalks, fountains, etc.

There used to be camelias planted at every second column of the covered walk. There are still a few left near Martin Hall. The campus used to have camelias all over but no more.
