This is true. It has been home to a bunch of square shapes though.

Football fields a baseball field, and even a cotton field.

They have finally got to the point where all of the underground work is just about finished. This winter weather has given them fits. This project just like the parking garage will start to see above ground work pretty soon and progress will be easier to track. This is a view from the overhead walk between Moody hall and F G Mouton Hall.

Hold up. They didn't tear up my brick did they?

Chances are, it came up on it's own. The bricks were falling apart and the quad was, shall we say, dated. They will replace your brick but instead of a paver, it will be a full depth brick imbedded in a sand bed over a concrete base. It will be much better.

That sounds fancy...gone are the days were people would go and take their brick...I know several people who have done so.

I know in the flow of construction, this would have been an added cost, but a week's window and, oh let's say $5 a pop, I would have gladly chiseled out my brick as I'm sure others. Just sayin'....

Disappointing progress on this project but it looks like they are finally ready to star placing concrete sidewalks.

I forget how beautiful this campus is in the spring. Nice to see the tweaks to it.
