I had noticed the very slow progress as well. Since we have been so dry lately, was really wondering what caused this delay.....do you have idea? Or when it's expected date to finish is? Thanks again for all your great posts!!!!

I really don't know the real reason why but I suspect the contractor bit off more than he could chew.

I walked by the quad on my way to Moody everyday. The majority of whats been done so far is below the surface. Early on they did a lot of plumbing and more recently there's been electrical crews running wire and such. Visual progress should start to become more apparent soon.

BTW, I posted a question on a UL Facebook page about 6 weeks ago, asking what the central fountain area will be like.....when the quad project was announced, it said that that part was not finalized yet. So I asked if a decision had been made, and if so when the public would be able to see it. Their response was that they did not know, but that they would check and get back with me. I haven't received any other info from them as of now.
Just real curious as to what it will look like .....

Stopped by today: looks like ZERO progress in the last few weeks. Since the weather has been perfect for landscaping, cannot understand the delay?????

The workers went to the ball games.

I started class today and had to walk by the quad. This was at 10 am, no workers were there and grass/flowers have actually started to grow over the dirt. It doesn't look like anything has gone on for weeks.

That's why I haven't posted any photos lately. I think the contractor bit off more than he could chew.

Heard the foreman was let go by contractor. Can't verify the source. Hope that's not the case.

That should make no difference. a foreman does not a job make.
