Good point ... there may not be a lot of people tuning in to our game, but the other two will get nice viewership and we will be getting our name out on the ticker, all night long. Now let's hope it is shown in a good way!

Well ESPN has done us no favors in the Tuesday, Thursday lineup. Granted the Tuesday game is the only game in town, except for the World Series. Still I think young recruits will watch the Tuesday over the WS. But that is just me.

Then on Thursday, we compete with top ten BCS games, and NFL. That is a lose, lose.

We aren't recruiting against any of those schools. The kids we are recruiting and have any interest in coming here will watch our game. They wanna see what we are about a possible envision themselves being here. They will watch because they have a vested Interest, just like people from the area, casual fans or other conference members fans.

So that's the great deal the Belt has with ESPN. You give up a weekend game and its gate revenue to be put on our least viewed outlet on a weeknight and we pay you peanuts. That's one hell of a deal.

Let ESPN put Ga. State/ ULM on tv. Nobody goes to those games anyway. ESPNU on Thursday won't hurt their attendance but it sure as ______ hurts ours.

Its funny... Thursday night used to be about the little guys. Boise State and MAC teams were on all of the time. Now its just an extension of Saturday and if a small school wants any exposure they have to move to Tuesday.

There is a subtle same stage value to being on the same night as those other games.

While they will steal viewers, a certain amount of channel surfing will occur.

At least for a moment the will see Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

The other same stage advantage is, the UL score should get tons of scrolling juice on the other games.
