Just called Marriott to check on reservations. The lady on the line notified me that the NOLA bowl Block Rate opens 11/16 @ noon. Block rate is $99 per room. Normal rate is $159. Just informing everyone of the good news.hope to see everyone in NOLA.

Marriott on canal (team hotel) blocks off a number of rooms for the bowl game(at the request of NOLA bowl). Not sure how many rooms, but i have been successful the last two yrs.

Just booked at the InterContinental on Poydras and St. Charles. $89 Crazy good deal.

FYI, in case anyone is wondering what all the best rates are and doesn't know where to look. just go to the Nola Bowl website Hotels section which can be found here. http://www.neworleansbowl.org/visitors/hotels/ They list every hotel that has a special rate for that weekend.

I have a feeling we will see an invite fairly soon.

Wow had to struggle with the lady in Ontario Canada but got the rooms booked at the Big Marriot---$99 for 3 nights --got an extra room thinking somebody will need it ---like LUKE!!!!
