Default Big 102.1 "Fast and Jen"

I was just wondering if anyone else had heard this on 102.1 this morning. Fast and Jen were on this morning and were talking about their son that they had lost in an accident months back and how he was an organ donor. About a month ago, they were able to meet the recipient of their son's heart. If I am correct, he is a teenager from Shreveport. Well, Fast and Jen were talking about how this young man and his family wanted to know what Lafayette was about and how UL's Homecoming sounded like fun. If I understood correctly, they will be here for Lafayette's Downtown alive, along with LOPA. And I think that they will top it off with UL's Homecoming game. I hope that somehow, this young man and his family are recognized at the game. If not, if someone happens to meet them, roll out that Ragin Cajun carpet! I think that it would be a hoot for him to meet the posters at the Eauk and the Crew da Chew.

I only posted this on this forum because it involved Homecoming. It can be moved to the appropriate folder.

Hans is a great guy and I love his calls at the football and basketball games. His family is fantastic too. They handled their tragedy with grace and I certainly hope that family enjoys their stay in Lafayette.

If anyone directs him to the Krewe de Chew, we would love to have him participate in our "Roosta" dance at either 1:00 or 2:30 PM!

My crazy neighbor in the hood is about 85 years old and had a heart transplant about 25 years ago or more!!! On a doctor's visit after the transplant a nurse came into the room and they were alone and she told him that it was her son's heart and just gave him a hug and shed a small tear in the process---So beautiful---well not my neighbor!!! he would love this post!!!
