I thoroughly enjoyed watching the teams actions on Saturday. While they were intense, they always seemed relaxed. They knew what they had to do, and they did it. During the Cajun Walk, they were focused, but relaxed. When they came out of the tunnel, they gathered and had a few words, and then ran onto the field. During the game, when things were tight, they never lost focus. And after the final pass was batted down, just to see them all run onto the field, and then run over to the student side and enjoy the moment, was great. These are all things I haven't noticed from the players in this program before. They are playing with confidence, and acting like they aren't taking this for granted. They also seem to be taking a very business like approach to the season, which is obviously working out well.
I'm not sure who the Defense thinks they are, but they forgot they were supposed to play like crap. For the losses they've suffered this season, they picked a great time to have their best performance of the year. I love Aurienne and Bentley, and the fact that those two play such great coverage as young guys, will make some of our front 7 All SBC guys in the future.
B Mac was great. He made some mistakes that you can expect a guy in his position to make. When he threw the INT in the 4th, I was watching him stare down the reciever the whole time and knew it wasn't going to turn out well. But, as we all know, while he made the mistakes of a freshman, he showed the poise of a 4 year starter and led the team to victory. And what's even better, is that he's got plenty of time to correct those mistakes before his next start, instead of having to learn on the fly like Des did in 2005. I expect him to be a big part of this program for years to come.
I assure you that I enjoyed this as much as anyone. I have been going to games regularly for over 30 years while living in the New Orleans area for over 20 years. I have also donated to this program in many other ways including financially. Having put so much into this is what makes the current situation so enjoyable. I just want to maximize the possibility that things continue to go well.
While I think this is a good sign for the program, I do not think this was completely necessary. Again, supply and demand should come into play here but I guess that is to elementary.
RV spots - Yes, no doubt this is long past due.
Tent spots - NO! All of the current tent spots are not sold. Why do we need more?
When it comes to tailgating for the students, I sure hope that the university uses some digressions. One of the stipulations to purchase a spot is season ticket membership. A person must have a minimum of 2 tickets to purchase a spot. I sure hope that they let a student purchase as spot with a valid UL ID. I did not have season tickets when I was a student. I am sure 99.9% of students do not have season tickets.
Looks bettter than this.

It's looking better than last year. Let's hope we continue to head in the right direction.
